At LatinXCoders, we work with the youngest Latinos in the household to teach them the technical skills of tomorrow. Founded by Zaira Cruz a Latina Software Engineer, LatinXCoders focuses on teaching programming skills using games and projects that XXX enjoy.
Our program is designed for young Latinos ages 6-18 years with all levels of knowledge who are interested in building their own games while learning the ins and outs of coding!
Our goal is to empower this increasing minority group with the resources to contribute to close the racial gap in STEM education. According to the U.S Department of Education, Latinos are underrepresented in undergraduate and graduate STEM programs and are not sufficiently exposed to STEM subjects at the K-12 levels.

At LatinXCoders we understand that kids have different likes and dislikes as well as ways of learning. This is why we have put a lot of our focus on the curriculum we use to teach. For our Mini Gamers it is important that we not only keep them entertained and engaged but more than that we look to show them that programming can also become their passion no matter if they are into sports, singing, or video games. All coders are welcome!

At LatinXCoders, we believe it is essential that our Junior Coders are exposed to the available resources within STEM before and while pursuing a higher education.
Similar to our other programs, our Junior Coders will gain programming knowledge that is ideal for their age. Whether it'd be 1:1 or in a class setting on Weekend BootCamps or as a Summer Camp, be sure to check out some of the cool things they will be learning!

At LatinXCoders, we believe that the next level to coding is understanding how real world applications are created. Whether it be your favorite website, maybe an app, or game our Advanced Coders program is designed around the most used programming languages out there - Java.
This program will get you ready to succeed in understanding how programming comes together to build anything you desire.
